The kitchen and dining area combine old and new, featuring a stone fireplace, range-style oven, and all modern appliances. Both bedrooms upstairs are bright and stylish, one featuring a king-size zip-link bed that can be converted into twins. Outside, there’s a front patio and a rear garden with decking and sea air drifting in from the shore.
Craster is one of Northumberland’s most recognisable coastal villages, famous for its working harbour and oak-smoked kippers. From the cottage, it’s only a short walk to the shoreline and the village pub, while the Northumberland Coastal Path passes just beyond the harbour wall — ideal for walks with the dog.
A scenic route north leads along the cliffs to Dunstanburgh Castle, while Embleton Bay and Bamburgh are a short drive away for sandy beaches and castle views. To the south, Howick Hall Gardens and Alnwick offer historic day trips and dog-friendly tea spots.
