The full-frontal view gives High Sea View the look of a substantial coastal townhouse, with dormer windows set into the roof and a clear driveway immediately outside. There is official off-road parking for two cars, removing the need to search for a space after arriving in Beadnell.

Inside, the living space runs through much of the ground floor. It is long and open plan, with the sitting area at the front, the kitchen towards the back and a returning corner containing the dining table. The arrangement means everyone can relax, cook and eat without being separated into different rooms.

The front sitting area feels cosy without being cramped. There is a three-seater sofa, an armchair, a widescreen television and additional chairs positioned in the cove of the bay window. That large front window brings plenty of daylight into the room and provides a comfortable place to sit away from the main sofa.

At the opposite end, the fitted kitchen provides an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. It is practical rather than oversized, but there is enough room for preparing family meals. The nearby dining table seats six, so everyone can eat together without leaving the main living space.

French doors beside the dining area open directly onto the back garden. This is particularly useful with dogs. The garden is a straightforward rectangular space with a paved patio, outdoor furniture and a separate lawn.

Fencing encloses the garden on both sides, while the patio gives guests somewhere to sit or eat outside. The combination of paving and grass is useful for dog owners, providing a secure outdoor area for quick toilet breaks as well as somewhere for dogs to stretch their legs.

The bedrooms are arranged across the upper floors. On the first floor, there is a double room with fitted sliding wardrobes and its own en-suite shower room. Towels are provided with the bed linen, helping to keep packing requirements down.
The second first-floor bedroom is a twin with two single beds and a light coastal theme. It should work particularly well for children, although the proper single beds also make it suitable for adults who would rather not share.

The king-size bedroom occupies the second floor beneath the roof. Dormer windows give the room its character, and the rear-facing window looks towards the sea. This bedroom also has its own television, creating a quieter space away from the main living room.

A family bathroom contains a bath with a shower above it, while the ground-floor cloakroom provides another toilet and basin. Together with the en-suite, these facilities make the three-storey arrangement more practical when all six guests are staying.
