This modern three-bedroom house sleeps up to eight guests and welcomes two dogs. The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and the coastal views make it a standout choice among luxury pet-friendly cottages in Beadnell for families and groups.
The double-height open-plan living area gives Northolme its luxurious feel, with large windows and French doors opening onto wrap-around decking. The lounge features a brick fireplace with a wood burner and a Sonos sound system, making it a comfortable space for everyone. The house has two bathrooms, a ground-floor double bedroom, an upstairs king-size room with an en-suite shower, and a third bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds. You can also hire a seven-person hot tub for your stay.
Northolme is designed with dogs in mind, making it easy to relax after a sandy walk. By The Sea places you right at Beadnell Bay, offering wide sea views and direct access to the beach. From the open-plan living area, you can step out onto a private balcony or an enclosed terrace, bringing you even closer to the water than most coastal cottages.
Large windows and folding doors fill the main living space with sea views. The modern kitchen includes an island for casual meals, and the dining and sitting areas offer plenty of space for everyone. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, and the main king-size room opens onto a balcony overlooking the bay—perfect for morning coffee.
Dogs have plenty of space outside and can reach Beadnell Beach right away. The private terrace is enclosed and has a gate to a shared staircase that leads down to the sand. There is also a cloakroom and utility room for outdoor gear, wet leads, and towels after a walk by the bay.
The coastal path runs from Beadnell to Seahouses, just two miles away, where you can catch boats to the Farne Islands. Nearby, the beachside café is perfect for breakfast after a morning walk. The L-shaped open-plan living area features a wood burner next to the sea-facing windows, and the sunroom overlooks the back garden. There are three bathrooms: an en-suite, a ground-floor shower room, and a large family bathroom with a slipper bath. The house is finished to a high standard, but the view is still the highlight.
Merrywind’s fully enclosed garden is perfect for guests with dogs. There’s a patio for relaxing outdoors, and the beach is close enough for a morning walk without needing to drive. The property welcomes up to two small dogs, and extra pet charges apply.
Beadnell’s village shop and family-friendly pubs are close by, and the sandy beach stretches for about two miles towards Seahouses. Guests often mention the sea views, cleanliness, and easy beach walks, and places like Salt Water Café and the Craster Arms are popular too. The sea is so close here that you can watch it from the sitting room and be out walking beside it with the dogs a few minutes later.
