From the front, it looks like a large detached dormer bungalow with a block-paved driveway and plenty of parking. The real surprise comes at the back, where the garden opens directly towards the beach and sea.
The sitting room is particularly good for a full group. There are several large leather sofas, additional chairs and an armless daybed-style seat, giving everyone somewhere to sit without having to split between different rooms.
Huge windows bring plenty of light into the room and make the most of the views outside. The television sits in one corner, leaving the rest of this unusually large room open for everyone to relax and spend time together.
A long hallway connects the sitting room with the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is modern and generously sized, with light-coloured units, dark worktops, a central island and a large American-style fridge-freezer.
The separate dining area sits just off the kitchen on the same tiled floor.
Glazed doors beside the dining table open towards the rear lawn and the sea. The water looks incredibly close from inside, so even meals around the table come with a full sea view.
The six bedrooms are arranged across the ground floor and upper dormer level. They include king-size, double, twin and family sleeping arrangements, which should work well for a mixture of couples, children and individual adults.
The family bedroom contains a king-size bed and two single beds. Other bedrooms include two ground-floor king-size rooms, a separate king-size room with a sofa, a double room and a ground-floor twin.
Four bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. There is also a large family bathroom with a bath and separate shower, along with an additional cloakroom. This gives large groups plenty of bathroom space.
The two upper rooms have plenty of floor space, useful storage and dormer-style windows. One bedroom window looks straight across the garden towards the beach, giving guests a sea view from bed.
The rear garden is what really sets the property apart. It has a huge lawn, outdoor furniture, a barbecue and a large dining table with a mixture of benches and chairs. The table can be set up on the grass with the sea as the background.
Green garden benches sit near the bottom of the lawn, giving you somewhere to watch the water without leaving the property. Private steps lead directly from the garden down to the beach.
The covered hot tub has steps leading up to it and sits within its own sheltered area. It is an optional extra, but its position makes it handy after swimming, walking on the beach or spending a colder day beside the sea.
The garden has its own steps down to the beach. You could easily spend the whole break here with what feels like your own private beach, even though it is open to the public. The village shop is almost next door, with pubs and places to eat within walking distance.
Direct beach access is what this property is all about for dogs. Two dogs are included as standard, with additional dogs considered for a charge. They should still be supervised in the garden because of the steps leading directly onto the beach.
